  2. I’m proud of how this is coming out. It’s for my life drawing class. I’ve been here for about 4 hours putting on the values and I’m only halfway done and it’s due tomorrow! XD oh well. If I’m going to do this I’m going to take my time and get the quality, not a messy rush job. Yup.

    Hello, a while back I asked you a few questions about SCAD. Since then, I've applied and I'm just waiting to hear their decision. I'm even flying in for a tour this weekend! anyway, my question is: any suggestions for what I should focus on for my portfolio(even though I'm going for a different major)? how are things with you and the school? thank you!

    Oh hi! Yes I remember! I’m glad to see you’ve applied. My advice for the portfolio is to provide different mediums and subjects. On mine I had my digital work since they are my strongest but also some traditional inks, watercolor, literature etc. oh! And also don’t forget to include concepts. I spoke to a professor when putting mine together and he said they’re not just looking for finished pieces but they also want to see your creative process. Also, put your strongest works in the front to get an immediate great first impression. The people who review the portfolios only have a certain of amount of time to look at them and it would be disappointing if you kept you best for last and they didn’t get to see them since they ran out of time! Also, be sure to space out your works according to medium. You don’t want to have digital cluttered together and then sketches in another.

  5. My friend and I were thinking about making a horse couple. I was originally going to do a stereotypical clydesdale but cremellos. Should he be a fursuit it’s going to be a pain to wash but cremellos are so beautiful. His name is Corey. There’s probably going to be more changes but this is the basic layout. He’ll also have a human form. yup.

  9. Just some things from life drawing. 20 minute poses with rectilinear lines and then adding one direction hatching and then cross contour lines to the second one. We had a really nice model today :)
